Diagonal of square = Its side x \sqrt { 2 }
Side \sqrt { 2 } = \sqrt { 2 } \sqrt { 2 }
i.e. side = 12 cm
Perimeter of a square = 4 x Side
= 4 x 12 = 48 cm
